New York City’s “Queen of Clean” is Christian Comedian Donna East. East is a popular national comedian who has brought laughter to our troops in 11 countries (Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines). Her national television show, “Bananas,” has aired on major networks, such as FOX, INSP, AND TBN. In addition to her Bananas show and DVD, her DVD “Comedy Angels” was sold exclusively at Walmart. She also opened for John Tesh (Entertainment Tonight) and his PBS special. Donna has performed her hilarious and interactive comedy in every major comedy club in New York City, from Caroline’s to Broadway to the Comic Strip Live! In the fall of 2015, East produced the first-ever Christian Comedy Night at the famous Comic Strip Live! The Comic Strip Live! in New York City has featured comedians, such as Jerry Seinfield, Ray Romano, Rosie O’Donnell and more.

Donna’s comedic style is unique and exclusive. Just some of her hilarious comedy topics are dieting, family, kids and the craze of everyday life. Some of her famous and classic characters include a Sunday School teacher, a driver’s education instructor, children’s cooking show host, a pedicurist, choir director, stylist and more.

Donna’s Komedy 4 Kidz workshop brought laughs, literacy and self-confidence to inner city kidz and their lives. Donna is also the co-creator of the “A Time To Laugh” comedy workshop (NYC, Houston). She is a contributing writer to three of Martha Bolton’s (Bob Hope writer) books, “Living It Down By Laughing It Up,” “Scriptwriting,” and “Saying Goodbye Even When You Don’t Want To.” Her off-Broadway play, “Made From Man, But All Woman” (based on women from the bible, debuted at the Lamb’s Theater in Times Square.

Donna feels honor to have shared the stage with her funny friends, like Sherri Shepherd (The View), Bob Nelson (HBO), Taylor Mason (Disney, Star Search), Al Lubel (Letterman), Chonda Pierce and Ross Bennett (Leno) to name a few. When opening up for John Tesh’s PBS Concert, Connie Sellecca was quoted as saying, “You were the only female comic I liked for this PBS special.” Using comedy as a tool to reach people, her real life story has moved those who listen to laughter and tears, encouraging and inspiring people to reach higher and move through their circumstances to a new place of joy. East is a comedian, inspirational speaker, playwright, actress, author and wife, but most proud to be a mom.
